What to Bring to a Cape Cod Fireworks Display

When preparing to take your family to a Cape Cod firework’s display, it is important to bring the essentials to ensure that everyone has a great time. As noted in the blog, some of the fireworks displays are set to music, so you want to be prepared. Take along a little portable radio or check to see if the radio station is available on your phone so you can get the full experience!

Since most of the fireworks displays are held at the beach, make sure you bring a sweater or sweatshirt for everyone in your group because even in July and August the beach gets chilly at night. Summer nights bring summer bugs, so take along some sort of insect repellent with you so you’re not distracted from the fun swatting mosquitoes.

A beach blanket or chairs will be helpful so you are comfortable and not just standing around waiting for the Cape Cod fireworks display to begin. At times, the fireworks are held up due to unforeseen circumstances so you want to be comfortable if that does happen to you so bring on the chairs.

If you have children with you, bring some glow sticks to keep the energy up and they will stay occupied if there is a wait. Projectiles such as frisbees and balls are not the best choice because you want to be respectful of your neighbors that are also trying to enjoy the Cape Cod fireworks display. A good old fashioned pail and shovel are always fun for the little ones as they wait for the Cape Cod fireworks display to begin! Snacks and drinks are always great to have on hand.

Cape Cod Fireworks

After a day of the beach, taking in some 4th of July fun or spending time with your family Cape Cod fireworks displays are a great way to end the night! Take the time before you head out with the family or your friends to enjoy a Cape Cod fireworks display to make sure you have everything necessary to have a fun and successful night for everyone.
