Brewster Beaches: Your Bay Side Vacation

Brewster Beaches are ideal for families due to its location and water temperature. The beaches in Brewster are all located on Cape Cod Bay. Being on the bay means the water is warmer and calmer than water on the other side of the Cape which can be rough and much colder because they are located on the open ocean. The port-a-potties at the Brewster beaches were nicknamed “pretty potties” by the locals because they were dressed up with wood trim to give them a more attractive appearance than your typical portable restroom. Whether you are interested in finding the perfect walking beach, family friendly destination or location that offers the best sunset, this is your guide to Brewster beaches. Make sure to also take a look at Brewster Beach Homes currently for sale.

Parking at Brewster Beaches

Beach goers must purchase a beach sticker and display it on their vehicles to park at Brewster beaches. Purchasing a beach sticker does not reserve a spot for you on the lots, parking is on a first come first serve basis. For residents, beach stickers are $20/season per vehicle. For non-residents it’s $15/day, $50/week and $150/season. Beach stickers are to be purchased at the Visitor Information Center in the back of the Brewster Town Offices located at 2198 Main Street. The offices are opened 7 days a week from June 1 – September 4, 2016. The hours for beach sticker sales are 9am – 3pm. To purchase a Brewster beach sticker, all you need to bring with you is your vehicle registration. Residents must bring proof of residency in addition to vehicle registration (since their passes are so inexpensive compared to the visitors passes).
